As a Northwest artist, Terri
Thickstun has had her work shown on several occasions in the
Boise Art Museum,
Brown's Gallery
, the Boise 'Art and Roses' show and the Charity Art Auction for the Women and Children's
Alliance. Her experience also includes years of working as a Graphic Artist for Hewlett-Packard and corporate fine art for
several banks and businesses. Her work spans portraiture, landscapes,
floral, genre and still lifes in oil. She has a definite passion for capturing individuals, their character and style in all types of
settings. She has a talent for bringing out the best features of individuals in her commissioned portraits.
Terri is the Idaho Ambassador to the Portrait Society of America, a
highly respected, non-profit, national society dedicated to education and
enlightenment regarding fine art portraiture. She is a member of the Treasure Valley Artist Alliance.
Terri teaches classes from
her studio as well.
