     As an Idaho artist, Terri Thickstun has had her work in oil, watercolor, and acrylics shown on   
     several occasions in the Boise Art Museum,  Brown's Gallery , the Boise 'Art and Roses' show and
     the Charity Art Auction for the Women and Children's Alliance.
     Her work is not limited to Portraits but she has a definite passion for capturing individuals, their
     character and style in all types of settings.  She has a talent for bringing out the best features of   
     individuals in her commissioned portraits. Her experience also includes years of working as a
     Graphic Artist for a Fortune 500 Technology company and corporate fine art for several banks and
     businesses.

     Since becoming a member of the Portrait Society of America, Terri Thickstun has had the benefit of
     learning from some of the best portrait artists in the country today. A week long workshop with artist
     Chris Saper heavily influenced her in the direction of portrait painting and a passion for capturing the
     beautiful effects of light on her subjects. For portrait painting, oil is her medium of choice.
